Thomas Merton once called contemplation "A long loving look at the real." In contemplative photography I don't take pictures. I receive them as divine gifts that open me to a greater Presence. When received in that consciousness, photographs become pathways to prayer.
I offer workshops to small groups and to individuals that include instruction on the nature of contemplative prayer, followed by some time in the field shooting, then sharing and meditating together. To learn about workshop schedules or to arrange for individual coaching, email me at [email protected].
